A third person tower defence, don’t just rely on turrets to do the dirty work… take control of the action yourself!

In this prototype I am looking at blending both a tower defence and a third person shooter in one. I am trying to solve the problem of which I have asked myself. Can a 3D tower defence work without relying heavily on a top down view?

Key mechanics I have prototyped in this has been:

- Wave mechanic

- Player movement

- Enemy movement

- Spawning and destruction

- Unlockable items

- Upgrade abilities

- Shooting

Take control of a bartender who is running on a constant timer to serve all customers before time runs out!

In this prototype I am experimenting with seeing why games like Overcooked are so well loved. Here I want to try and achieve the same kind of playstyle and pacing that would suit a game of this genre I am prototyping. In this prototype I am focusing on creating key mechanics that you would find in a customer service based game, this include the likes of:

- Money

- Timer

- Grabbable items

- Difficulty increasing over time

- Reputation bar
